Whistle-blowers

Acting pursuant to:

  • Act of 14 June 2024 on the protection of whistleblowers (Dz.U. /Journal of Laws/ of 2024, item 928),

  • Directive (EU) 2019/1937 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2019 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (OJ L 305, p. 17, as amended),

  • Act of 26 June 1974 Labour Code (Dz.U. /Journal of Laws/ of 2023, item 1465, as amended),

Huta Łabędy introduces a mechanism for internal reporting to:

  • Detect misconduct at an early stage and prevent undesirable consequences.

  • Avoid damage to the image and reputation of Huta Łabędy S.A. by handling reports of legal violations properly and discretely.

  • Reduce possible financial losses by addressing the problem quickly and preventing future occurrences.

  • Building trust between Huta ŁABĘDY S.A. and stakeholders and creating appropriate ethical standards.

  • Protecting any person who reports information about identified breaches in good faith.
