On October 12, 2020, almost 90 female employees of HUTA ŁABĘDY S.A. in Gliwice had an opportunity to take mammography examinations of the breasts. A specialized mammobus was brought to the plant, so getting to the tests and completing the whole procedure went smoothly and comfortably.
88 members of the nearly 500 staff of HUTA ŁABĘDY are women. All of them could take the prophylactic breast examination to determine the risk of cancer. It is still the most common and very life-threatening disease occurring among women.
Following the guidelines of our Corporate Social Responsibility Policy, our company pays specific attention to programs in the field of health care – not only among the employees of HUTA ŁABĘDY. In addition to mammography tests, we also actively support blood donors who have a solid ally in our projects,” said Czesław Żabiński, President of the Management Board of HUTA ŁABĘDY S.A.
The efforts of the company’s management are noticed by the employees who willingly use the opportunities that are created for them. The caring for our health takes on a special importance at this time.
It is not easy to arrange for such tests because a specialized bus with a properly trained crew is currently still on the road.
However, people, especially in recent times, pay a lot of attention to health, both their own and everyone with whom they come into contact, so we need to provide them with possibly best access to specialized tests. This action undertaken by HUTA ŁABĘDY perfectly fits into these trends.
