Letter of intent on cooperation between Huta ŁABĘDY and JSW INNOWACJE has beeb signed. On 24 August 2021, in Katowice, the presidents of the two companies officially initiated the start of activities aimed at conducting joint research and development projects. At the end of October 5,000 tons of magnetite arrived to the premises of HUTA ŁABĘDY from Sweden under terms of the import contract. It is the first commercial and logistic venture of that type but certainly not the last one.
In the beginning of September this year construction works were commenced in Huta Łabędy in Gliwice to erect the new Tube Plant – the largest and the most advanced plant in Poland designed to manufacture electro-resistance welded tubes with longitudinal seam. Completion of the investment is scheduled to the end of 2015.
From 17th to 19th September a group of representatives from HUTA LABEDY S.A. paid a visit to an international mining fair show that were held in Astana, the major industrial town of Kazakhstan.
